hedgehogNoah the Hedgehog (and his girlfriends) finally arrive this Saturday and to mark the event there is a day of welcome and celebration in The Ball.

It starts with a big community breakfast from 10am with croissants and coffee, tea and bacon butties, fried egg baps and toasted cinnamon bread (from the Bluebird Bakery of course) and other breakfast classics.

From 1-5pm there is a table top sale selling bargain priced clothes books and home made cakes.  And a  raffle will be running all day with the top prize a Hedgehog Cake –  no Hedgehogs were hurt in the baking.

At 9pm there will be a special Pub Quiz in the Garden Room with entry only £1 per person.

All money raised on the day will go to Selby Wildlife Trust who saved and nurtured Noah after the floods – details here.

Hope that you can make it for all or part of the fun. This could become the Bishophill Ground Hog Day. Spring starts when Noah comes out of hibernation – we hope!
